We are excited to invite you to the 69th Annual State School Bus Safety Roadeo  taking place on Sunday, May 24, 2026. This prestigious event brings together school bus drivers from throughout the state to showcase their skills, compete for top honors, and advance safety standards in student transportation.  Participation is open to all state certified school bus drivers.

Roadeo Registration Instructions

Each competitor must complete an individual registration, even if multiple competitors are participating from the same organization.
A single shared registration packet (containing all competitors’ names) will be attached to every individual registration.

Step 1 — Complete the Registration Packet

1. Fill out the full registration packet that includes the names of all competitors from your organization.
2. Ensure every section of the packet is fully completed and that all information is:
   • Accurate
   • Clear
   • Legible
3. The Certification of Employer section must be:
   • Filled out completely
   • Signed by a member of the carrier management team

Step 2 — Register Each Contestant Individually

1. Go to Castoways.org and complete an individual registration for each competitor.
2. Upload/attach the completed registration packet to each competitor’s online entry.
3. Payment must be made by credit card during the online registration process.

Step 3 — Retain Your Receipt

• After payment is submitted, a paid invoice will be generated.
• This invoice serves as your official entry receipt.
• Save or print this receipt for your records.

No on-site registration will be accepted on the day of the Roadeo. The only exception is for team member replacements, which require:

• A new "Certification of Employer" signed consent form
• Approval from the Roadeo Committee State Chairperson or State Vice Chairperson

Replacements may be made at registration check-in; however, advance notification is strongly encouraged.
